No. While we do encourage you to bring your parent/guardian with you, we understand that’s not always possible for various reasons. Teens are offered confidential services, which means we cannot give out your medical information to anyone, including your parent(s)/guardian(s).
A pap smear is a test that is done by the clinician during a pelvic exam to check for abnormal or cancerous cells on your cervix. This test does not need to be done until you are 21 years old.
A pelvic exam is an exam done by a clinician in order to get a better look inside the vagina. This exam allows the clinician to check for infections or STDs.
If you are having or have had unprotected sex you could be pregnant. If you think you might be pregnant, please schedule an appointment with us to take a pregnancy test.
Our clinic uses a sliding fee scale, which means that our services are based on your income. We take patients that are non-insured and/or underinsured.
Yes, we provide all methods of birth control either onsite, referral, or prescription. You can even get an IUD or implant same day if you medically qualify.
